Our living environments are increasingly traced through data. This is an experiment in how we might use it to develop richer representations of living landscapes: over 6000 observations from Canberra Nature Map come together in visual mosaics that reflect local ecological communities as well as the interests of nature mappers. The patterns shift in a seasonal cycle, reflecting the time of year when each observation was made.
