This digital exhibition showcases the John Emmerson Collection at State Library Victoria - an internationally significant collection of rare books, with a particular focus on the early modern period and the English Civil War. The exhibition is a major outcome of the ARC Linkage Project Transforming the Early Modern Archive: The Emmerson Collection at State Library Victoria (LP180100704). The project team includes Lead CI Professor Rosalind Smith (ANU), Trisha Pender (University of Newcastle), Sarah C. E. Ross (Victoria University of Wellington), Paul Salzman (La Trobe), Anna Welch (State Library Victoria) and PhD student Julia Rodwell (ANU).
Created by Julia Rodwell and Mitchell Whitelaw, the exhibition uses lavish 2d and 3d imaging of the collection in a "scrollytelling" format, along with a rich network of linked data.
